Yard Work

So our back yard has been torn up for a good seven months now and we have been diligently working the past few weekends to try to get it pulled back together. We are hoping to plant grass seed next weekend and then maybe get some flowers planted also to spruce up the dirt that the yard is now. While digging trenches for the new sprinkler lines, Chris and Sue found this.......

Sheep shears anyone? at least that's what I say they are!

Here is a picture of our before yard. This is from a few years back, but it shows part of the pool and the grass area in the back (pre Penelope's play area)

Here is the current state of the backyard. Things have been a mess and we just can't wait to get the pool done so that it is not so much of an eye sore. (should be done this week :) Yay!)

Penelope decided that she would be helpful and pull all of the garbage out of the pool, of course she had to go in the puddle of water in order to get it though!
