Ok so we just had the perfect Molly Mormon experiance. I was getting Penelope some dinner when Sue came in from the yard and said "I need your help." She had an ice cream bucket with bush beans in it and said, "This is only one side of one plant." and the bucket was 1/2 full. So I set Penelope up with her Ariel movie and said stay in your room I'll be right back. We came in with two grecery bags and the bucket full of beans. Mostly bush beans, but some pole beans also. Chris kept reminding me that we needed to get them put away so that they wouldn't go bad so we decided to freeze them. (since there are still a ton on the plants that will be ready soon) So we washed them up, blanched them, cooled, and then packed them up to go in the freezer. Here are a couple pictures.
I found these cute pictures on the camera also from last month. We have had an awsome harvest of grapes this season. Last year they all went bad due to a disease, but this year we talked with Chris' Uncle that grew up on a grape vine, got some sulfer dust, and check out the beautiful buches we got. (the kids cute too!)
